The building was arranged according to a simple spatial plan with respect to capacity and functionality. It represents a spatial diagram based on communication. A ribbon-like path, which stretches along the entire building and is accessible to all users, creates a characteristic interior landscape inside the building. It leads users around the entire collection of the museum and accompanying functions, or takes them through the building to the terrace on the roof, or to the scenic terrace or café. The path is like an inner city street, with individual exhibition rooms and the entire building plan arranged around it.
