MULTIFAMILY AND COMMERCIAL HOUSE

The building was designed on a long plot stretching along a curved road, located next to an old park. Spatial planning regulations required high-sloping roofs, which in the case of an elongated plot would create the risk of wrongly balanced proportions in the entire structure. To avoid this problem, the building structure was divided into three rectangular segments covered with separate two-slope roofs with gables oriented towards the street, the same as the roofs on the neighbouring buildings. The angular arrangement of the building mirroring the curved road line visible on the projection allowed the architects to design a private square by the entrance, with a gate leading to a recreational yard connected to the old park. |
