Shape and layout of the buildings is the outcome of the analyses of the sun exposure conditions as well as aiming to achieve the optimum relation with surroundings. Cuboidal, over 30m high, twin volumes of the office buildings inscribe in the context of the Strzegomska and Robotnicza Street, were the loose and monumental building development predominates. In between buildings there is green landscape of the square designed with street furniture, in the centre of which there is a hollow atrium enabling the light for the rooms in the underground level. Op art composition of the facade and the atrium floor is based on the alternately arranged dark and light rectangles, which are slightly shifted against each other to give an impression of waving. Main entrances to the buildings, located appropriately from Strzegomska and Robotnicza Street, are underlined with the canopies which smoothly become the roofing of the entrance ramps to the underground parking. The building has got 10 floors above the ground and two underground levels. Commercial and office areas on the ground floor have their separate entrances directly from the ground level. Floors 1-9 are dedicated to the open-space offices with central circulation core, which defines the separate space arrangement for the individual tenants. On the -1 and -2 level there is parking area and technical rooms. Additionally, on the -1 level, around the inner atrium, there are areas dedicated to retail, security rooms, building administrator rooms and bikers’ cloakrooms. The buildings will be equipped in the energy saving and environmental protection systems. They will also fulfill accessibility requirements for disabled. |
