The Wrocław Calendar has been published (with a break) since 1958. In the post-war period it served to strengthen the Polish image of Wrocław, which was being rebuilt on the ruins of the “foreign city of Breslau”. Through a variety of articles familiarising its residents with this unusual transplantation situation, it was the first to help them build a sense of belonging. In the 2021 edition, Zbigniew Maćków writes about his method of dialogue with the complicated identity of the place.
