Maćków Pracownia Projektowa

The Wrocław Cal­en­dar has been pub­lished (with a break) since 1958. In the post-war pe­riod it served to strengthen the Pol­ish im­age of Wrocław, which was be­ing re­built on the ru­ins of the “for­eign city of Bres­lau”. Through a va­ri­ety of ar­ti­cles fa­mil­iaris­ing its res­i­dents with this un­usual trans­plan­ta­tion sit­u­a­tion, it was the first to help them build a sense of be­long­ing. In the 2021 edi­tion, Zbig­niew Maćków writes about his method of di­a­logue with the com­pli­cated iden­tity of the place.
