The simplest urban quarter within the Nowe Żerniki estate. In this deliberate reduction, a formula for accessible housing with the best possible urban parameters was sought. The building was designed as two five-storey blocks, oriented on the north-south axis, resting on a common garage slab. The spatial disposition of the residential parts made it possible to create an internal courtyard, the higher part of which is connected to the ground level by a gentle slope. The created semi-private space has been filled with greenery and recreational functions. The courtyard is separated from the access road by a pergola containing boxes with bicycle racks, cable connection cabinets and a service module. This element binds the assumption spatially – it has the height of the bases of the residential blocks, completing their outline. The elevations were designed as white plastered, using a seemingly free composition of stylized window openings. Simple balconies give the masses a tectonic character.
